drybar at Parker Meridien NYC: Fabulosity in a NY Minute

Do you know what drybar is?  Well, it's pretty much the best thing to happen to me since I learned to tie my shoelaces.  Here's why:

1. You book an appointment for a blowdry online, with the ability to confirm and cancel online.  You're all aces in my book if I don't have to pick up the phone and call ya! (Exceptions given to my betrothed and once in awhile, when I'm not feeling too prickly, my mum)

2. It only takes 35 minutes and they open at 7am on weekdays - fast and doesn't have to cut into my day.

3.  They have a menu with pictures of different blow-outs -- I'm not sure about everyone else but I often stumble with hair salon vernacular and just end up saying "volume, but straight!" I'm more of a point-at-pictures type of girl, makes things simple(r?) for me.

4.  They just do blowdrys (and I think some updos?), so your stylist isn't running late because someone's color or toner isn't quite done.

5.  And my hair came out exactly like the picutre I pointed at -- see below.

I look like a celebrity, right? Humor me. I'm even turning away with my sunglasses on -- I think the paps were tireless this day. -DW
